Mitra is a private Montessori House of Children for children in the age group 2 ½ to 6 years running under the Mitra Montessori Education Trust, with the primary objective  to offer  quality education start to young children, based on the time-tested Montessori philosophy. This involves respecting children as unique individuals with a genuine concern for their social and emotional development and a positive attitude toward learning.

The management of Mitra spearheaded by the Director, A. Shaila Holla, is supported  by a dynamic team of professionals including experts from the fields of education and business. Our  teachers are well trained in the Montessori Method with significant field experience with children.

Mitra seeks to ensure educational quality through small class sizes, low teacher/child ratios, and close communication with parents. We are committed to continually improving the quality of our programme.

Mitra is located in the heart of Sanjaynagar. The school facility features a safe new, bright and airy classroom and an indoor play area which facilitates multipurpose educational activities. The surrounding area is a fine balance of commercial and residential communities.

Mitra Montessori Education Trust

Mitra Montessori Education Trust (2017) is formed to take over the management of ‘Mitra Montessori House of Children’ with the primary objective to promote high quality early childhood education to children in preschool . Also, to build an opportunity for the parent and teacher community to share their experiences and support one another in the process of child development. The Trust has authorized Ms. A. Shaila Holla to continue as the Director of Mitra Montessori House of Children and discharge all functions of the school as well as the Trust.
